Interactive/Digital Project Manager

They’re looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager who will be responsible for organizing the people, resources, and processes necessary to complete major digital projects—primarily websites and microsites and banner ads—and integrated projects that involve multiple deliverables in various media. Throughout the project, the senior project manager will lead the project team with the counsel of the Vice President, Digital Services and the client partner.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Lead the project team in its activities 
•    Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget (as much as is possible) 
•    Co-develop (with the team) project timelines, and monitor and adjust them as necessary while communicating with team members and the client as changes occur 
•    Develop, manage, and recommend changes to budgets to accommodate the shifting emphases of projects 
•    Participate in intake, documentation, peer comparison, editing, strategic recommendations, and other tasks during the strategy phase of projects 
•    Facilitate the design process, the content development process, the tech process, and quality assurance during the implementation phase of projects 
•    Identify enhancements to the current work and second-phase opportunities throughout all phases of projects 
•    Organize and lead project meetings with the client 
•    Serve as the agency lead with tech partners, and facilitate introduction of new technologies, deliverables, and vendors 
•    Adhere to best practices in project management including regular client meetings, documentation, and project briefs 
•    Introduce new project management processes and practices as needed 
•    Serve as mentor to junior project managers, especially in the areas of tools, budgeting, and other processes

•    Capacity to learn new software 
•    Proficient with project management software, Excel, Word; software associated with digital media (e.g. Dreamweaver or similar software) 
•    Familiarity with Flash, HTML, CMS technology 
•    Capacity to manage budgeting and letters of agreement 
•    Command of and ongoing interest in trends in the field of digital marketing and technologies

•    Strong communication and writing skills 
•    5+ years digital project management and/or marketing experience (for-profit or nonprofit) 
•    College degree required 
•    Agency experience a plus
